What this app knows about you, in plain words. No small print, because there is nothing here that needs hiding.

The short version
DopaFast has no accounts, no sign-up and no servers. Your fasts, your streak and the ideas you write yourself stay on your own phone and are never sent anywhere — we could not read them if we wanted to. The one exception is advertising: the app is free with everything unlocked because it shows ads from Google AdMob, and the advertising section below says exactly what Google receives.
Who is responsible
MyT Developers, the maker of DopaFast, is the data controller. The only contact address is myt.developers@gmail.com and it is read by a person.
What is stored
Everything the app remembers lives in its own private storage on your phone: the fasts you have finished and how long each lasted, your current and best streak, the ideas you add under “My ideas”, and your settings — language, reminder time, and whether sounds are on. No other app on the phone can read any of it, and neither can we.
What is never collected
No name, no email address and no password, because there is nothing to sign up for. No contacts, no photos, no files, no camera, no microphone and no GPS location — the app does not even request those permissions, which you can verify on its store listing. There is no analytics library and no crash reporting. Nothing you type into “My ideas” ever leaves the phone.
Why it is stored
So that the app works: a fasting tracker that forgets your streak is not a fasting tracker. All of it stays on your device, so there is no processing by us to speak of. Notifications are optional and rest on your consent — turning the reminder off in Settings withdraws it. No notification token is ever created, because the reminders are scheduled by your own phone rather than pushed from a server.
Who else sees it
Nobody. There is no database, no backup and no third party with access, because the data never leaves your device to reach one. The only company that receives anything at all is Google, and only for the ads described below — never your fasts, your streak or your ideas.
Advertising
DopaFast is free with everything unlocked and no subscription, and it pays for itself with ads served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited). There are exactly two, and no others: a small banner on the Progress and Settings screens, and an optional video you can choose to watch to repair a lost streak. There are no ads at all while you are fasting, on the home screen, when you finish a fast, or during onboarding, and there are no full-screen interstitials anywhere. To show them, Google receives your IP address — from which an approximate, city-level location can be derived — your device and its operating system, and whether an ad was shown or tapped. On Android it may also use the advertising ID; on iOS it uses the equivalent identifier only if you agreed when the system asked. In Europe, the UK and Switzerland the app asks for your consent before any of this and lets you change your mind later, from Settings › Ad privacy. Refusing does not add more ads and does not take any feature away: it only makes the ads less relevant. What Google does with what it receives is governed by its own privacy policy, at policies.google.com/privacy.
Where it lives
On your phone, and nowhere else. There is no server holding it and no country it gets transferred to.
For how long
For as long as you keep the app. Uninstalling it, or clearing its storage in your device settings, deletes everything immediately and permanently. There is no cloud copy — which also means we cannot restore anything for you if you change phones.
Your rights (GDPR)
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. In practice there is nothing for us to act on, because we hold nothing: your data is already only in your hands, and uninstalling erases it. For the advertising data the controller is Google — use the link above, or withdraw consent from Settings › Ad privacy. If you would still like to write to us, myt.developers@gmail.com is answered within 30 days. If you are not happy with the answer you can complain to your data protection authority; in Spain, the AEPD (www.aepd.es).
California (CCPA/CPRA)
Your personal information is not sold, and never has been. Showing personalised ads may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under Californian law: you can stop it by refusing tracking when the app asks, or by turning off personalised ads in your phone settings. You have the right to know what is held, to have it deleted, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for asking. The same address handles all of it: myt.developers@gmail.com.
Children
DopaFast is not aimed at children under 13, or under 16 in countries where that is the age of consent. We do not knowingly collect anything from them — and since the app collects nothing from anybody, there is nothing held about a child either.
Changes to this notice
If anything material changes — a new advertising provider, any new collection of data — it will be announced in the store update notes before it takes effect, not afterwards. The date at the top of this page always tells you which version you are reading.
